There are a few things better than a family bonding in, say, a world-class paradise such as Boracay.

FAMILY FIRST. There are only a few things better than a family getaway in the world-class island of Boracay.

A new resort in Boracay invites moms and dads and the rest of the gang to celebrate the gift of family by spending quality time in a leisurely escape.

Inspired by the Polynesian word for “family,” the seven-hectare luxury resort Auhana Boracay is all about the love that ties them together. It offers a variety of facilities made for every member of the family as well as encourage bonding.

The fambam can take a dip into the shell-shaped main pool that overlooks the sea, while the kids can spend hours of fun with other young guests in the Tiki Hut Kids’ pool. Private lap pools facing the beach are also available for a quiet dip.

Moms and dads can treat themselves to a relaxing time at The Auhana Spa, which boasts an extensive collection of essential oils. Some of the services the spa offers include the Auhana Signature Massage, a combination of Swedish, Shiatsu, Hot Stone, and Thai Massage.

After hours of playing and relaxing, families can bond over good food at any of the resort’s three restaurants.

The luxurious Auhana Boracay offers upscale facilities and amenities for families to enjoy individually or together.

The All-Day Dining is an open-air restaurant that serves meals with a side of a breathtaking view of the sea. Asian Eats, on the other hand, offers classic and contemporary, as well as Asian fusion dishes. The Porch is perfect for dinners with a priceless view of Boracay’s fabled sunset.

There’s also the Bar and Lobby Lounge where families can bond over snacks during the day, and where mom and dad can share a drink later in the evening.

Auhana brings Boracay’s famed powdery white sand beach and crystal clear water closer to guests by lining its beachfront with rooms, suites, and villas.

Guests can choose to stay in more than 500 rooms spread across 14 categories, including, among others, Deluxe, Premier, Premier Panoramic, Junior Suite, Family Suite, and Presidential Suite.

Each room guarantees a picturesque view of greens and blues from the windows, as well as amenities like plush beds, flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and modern restroom fitted with a top-of-the-line bathtub, heated toilet seat, and more.

The resort also houses a 51-square meter chapel that can comfortably seat 80 guests.

And while Auhana provides a comfortable distance from the commercial and recreational establishments of Station 2, shuttle services are provided until 10 in the evening. Guests can also reach Station 2 by foot, should they opt for a romantic, 15-minute stroll along the beach.
