There has never been a time when people have become more interested in travel than now. “The industry is at its zenith and I don’t see it slowing down anytime soon!” says Maria Paz Alberto, vice president of Travel Innovators, Inc., organizer of the biggest mid-year travel bargain event from July 7 to 9 at the SMX Convention Center, Halls 1 to 4.
Now on its sixth year, this upcoming Travel Madness Expo promises to be the biggest and most attractive with the inclusion of over a hundred domestic and international airlines, national tourism offices, cruise lines, travel agencies and tour operators, domestic resorts and hotels, local and international theme parks, travel insurance companies, real estate companies, and many, many more.

Previous expos have proven very successful and saw bigger turnouts each year with tens of thousands expected to attend again in July. Alberto says, “Because the ASEAN is actively promoting the region as one destination, we can expect tremendous growth in both intra-regional and global inbound and outbound travel. And, to capitalize on this momentum, we in the travel industry have to do the groundwork by further incentivizing tourism through the annual Travel Madness Expo with its unbelievable and jaw-dropping prices for all products and services. This unique event has been contributing a lot to making tourism a year-round affair, even during lean months.”
Originally staged in 2012, it has since evolved into the nation’s most popular international event for travel promos, discounts, deals, and packages making it a one-stop shop for all travel needs. This phenomenal event will again make everyone’s travel dreams come true. Alberto adds, “travel is no longer a luxury or a far-off idea available only for those who can afford. It is now a way of life for nearly every Filipino—it allows them to bond with family and at the same time, discover new places and experience the culture of other countries.
