The recently concluded 2015 Asia CEO Awards held at the Marriott’s Grand Ballroom nominated Acacia Hotel Manila as one of the four finalists for the Philippine Airlines Hospitality Destination of the Year Award.  The nominees were determined by the quality of service based on consistent positive feedback, leadership commitment, initiatives on reducing the property’s ecological footprint, promotion of tourism and innovation.

The awards night is said to be biggest of its kind in the region with prominent business leaders across Asia Pacific in attendance. Other award categories include The Lifetime Contributor award for Public Sector (Jose L. Cuisia), the Lifetime Contributor award for Private Sector (David M. Consunji of DMCI Holdings Inc.), Philippine Airline Hospitality Destination of the Year (Marriott Hotel Manila), Technology Company of the Year (Eco-System Technologies, Inc.),  among many others.

The relatively young Acacia Hotel Manila that started in 2011 as the newest 16-storey five star hotel in the heart of Alabang is giving competitors a run for their money.  The hotel has 261 pristine guest rooms and suites, four restaurants, banquet spaces and services, and notable leisure facilities such as a spa, pool and a 24-hour fitness center. The four year old hotel led by general manager and Mabuhay Awardee Bobby Horrigan takes pride not only in providing guests with utmost comfort through the hotel’s amenities but also in its ability to sustain excellent customer retention through its commitment in treating guests with genuine Filipino hospitality. The hotel has been awarded by leading worldwide review site Trip Advisor with a Certificate of Excellence and was included in the list of 25 Top Luxury Hotels in the Philippines.
