For its “biggest sale of the year”, e-commerce platform Shopee taps once again its global ambassador to invite everyone to shop and score items at discounted prices on Nov. 11.
Jackie Chan stars in a fun, action-packed commercial for the 11.11 Big Christmas Sale. According to Shopee, Chan’s 9.9 commercial was a success, garnering 435 million views online, that a sequel was only appropriate.
Shoppers can look forward to a wide variety of discounted products from over 25 categories, as well as promos such as Piso Deals, free shipping with no minimum spend, and 10 percent off daily.
“As the holidays approach, we aim to bring more joy to shoppers and help them save more on things they love by curating the best deals,” Martin Yu, Shopee Philippines director, said in a statement.
Shopee says the number of new buyers on the platform is expected to peak further during 11.11. In fact, the number of sellers and brands on Shopee surged by 60 percent in 2021. The officials foresee the Christmas sale to “act as a springboard to accelerate growth for businesses” on the platform. This year alone, more than 8 million new local shops opened on Shopee.
As brands grow and more shops open, customers get to enjoy more choices and discounts online.
For instance, exclusive deals from leading brands on Shopee Mall, such as Xiaomi, POCO, realme, Samsung, Nokia, Vivo, DJI, PerySmith, Deerma, Coocaa Home, and Bata Philippines, await on Nov. 11.
Users can turn to “Deals Near Me” to check for special in-store deals from Puregold, National Bookstore, Fully Booked, Power Mac Center, The Generics Pharmacy, Family Mart, Lawson, Olympic Village, Shoe Salon, Potato Corner, Mary Grace, Bonchon, Papa John’s, Siomai House, and Fruitas Group of Companies.
Shoppers looking for quick and easy holiday shopping can check out Shopee’s “Christmas in our Carts” gift guides, where they can get discounts up to 90 percent off on a wide range of branded gifts and bundles.
Check out Shopee Mall for 10 percent off vouchers, special deals on holiday gifts, and vouchers from different brands. During the 11.11 Midnight Mall Exclusive Sale from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., shoppers can enjoy huge price drops and exclusive bundle deals.
In addition to deals and discounts, Shopee will be treating its loyal patrons to a special show. The “11.11 Big Christmas Sale TV Special” will feature K-pop boy band NCT 127. Viewers can also catch performances from Jessy Mendiola, Aira Bermudez, Rocco Nacino, Klea Pineda, Andre Paras, Gil Cuerva, and more during the Nov. 11 show at 9:30 p.m. on GMA 7 and Shopee Live.
