In celebration of its 20th anniversary on Sept. 8, skin whitening brand Silka is giving deserving college students support to finish their degrees.
The ALAGA (Academic, Learning, and Achievement Grant Awardees) Scholarship Program is open to incoming and current college students of any level. Silka will be awarding 20 college scholars – five each from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and Metro Manila – a fixed amount for their tuition plus allowances.
“Silka ALAGA scholars are bound to uplift, not only themselves, but also their families, their communities, and their country. In the same way that they experienced ‘alaga’, they too can pass on the same to those who follow in their footsteps,” the brand said in a statement.
