Quick, easy, and hot: Handheld clothes steamer

Those looking for a way to keep their clothes tidy and clean sans fuss and huge appliance that takes up too much cabinet space may opt for a portable handheld clothes steamer.

The new Philips 3000 Series Handheld Steamer, for example, looks like your ordinary hair dryer that comes with a detachable 100ml water tank and a steam plate that can be safely pressed against fabrics.

The new Philips 3000 Series Handheld Steamer delivers 20g/min of continuous steam, de-wrinkling clothes fast and with less effort.

It is ready to steam in 30 seconds upon turning it on, according to Philips. Its 1000W of power delivers up to 20g per minute of continuous steam. It boasts a light, compact, and foldable body for easy usage and storage at home or even while traveling.

“At Philips, we believe your clothes are important, when they look and feel great, so do you. Through our innovative solutions, Philips can ensure that your clothes are perfectly cared for with as little effort as possible,” says Maite Uy, business development manager at Philips Philippines.

In addition to de-wrinkling clothes, Philips suggests three other ways to use the Philips 3000 Series Handheld Steamer.

Sanitizing furniture and linens – The hot steam can deep-clean curtains, bed sheets, carpets, couches and more, killing 99 percent of bacteria and 100 percent of dust mites in 1 minute.

Keeping windows and mirrors clean – Steaming cleans glass surfaces without leaving lint, smudges, and streaks.

De-greasing cookware – Loosen up the grease settled on pots and pans: Aim at the greasy area, wait for the grease to loosen up, and wipe away.

The handheld steamer is available on Shopee and Lazada.
