The Villain Kids are back!

Just two years after the characters of Disney Descendants burst onto TV screens, they made their much-anticipated return in Descendants 2 on Disney Channel.

The film brings back all of its original characters, plus all-new songs, a new villain and of course, its edgy fashion style.

Since the original film premiered, the “Descendants look” has inspired a following among kids and teens not just in the Philippines, but around the world.

The Fashion Institute of the Philippines presented a special collection of street wear and formal attire based on the styles of the Villain Kids.

Taking its cues from the film’s signature “wicked” look, Disney Channel has collaborated with selected students of the Fashion Institute of the Philippines to produce a special collection of street wear and formal attire to mark the sequel’s premiere. Chosen for their expressed admiration for the first film, the four talented student designers have provided their own unique take on the cutting edge styles of the Villain Kids: Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Ursula’s daughter, Uma.

Einer Nicdao showcases Evie’s flirty yet confident style through a blend of blues and blacks in his design

Dylan Funa Gallaza, who was inspired by Jay’s quick witted, determined and charming personality, channels this through his design in standout details such as structured cuts and a unique urban athlete style

Jay Tillo takes inspiration for Uma’s ensemble from her affinity with the sea, featuring an ocean washed look accentuated by sea shells and other nautical pieces

The bespoke collection made its debut at Disney Channel’s Isle of the Lost Party, an advanced screening event of Descendants 2 in One Canvas, Makati.
