Partnership brings smiles to kids

December last year was magical. Marks & Spencer made sure everyone had a chance to give back and bring joy while doing their holiday shopping through their Win Back and Give Back Promo for the benefit of UNICEF.

Shoppers made their holiday season more festive with indulgent treats and fashionable finds but even before Christmas Day, everyone was already in high spirits as they anticipated the announcement of the winners.

M&S Philippines Marketing Division manager Lucille Tolentino awards the P20,000 grand prize to Vivian Garcia 

The raffle draw was held on Dec. 16 with Lucille Tolentino, M&S Philippines Merchandising Division manager, Kristine Carbon, UNICEF Corporate Fundraising assistant, and Che Pelo, DTI Representative. The lucky winner, Vivian Garcia, took home the grand prize of P20,000.

Marks and Spencer Philippines gave P100,000 to UNICEF for three daycare centers with Preschool-in-a-Box kits containing school supplies and visual aids for learning. The preschool kits were given during the Turnover and Painting Activity to Strawberry Daycare Center, Sto. Niño Daycare Center, and Tulip Daycare Center. 

UNICEF Celebrity Ambassador Anne Curtis bonds with kids of Strawberry Daycare Center

UNICEF Celebrity Advocate Anne Curtis brought more joy to children with her surprise visit in Strawberry Daycare Center on Dec. 20. Curtis also had a blast bonding with the kids through the mural painting activity which made the classrooms look brighter and more fun for each student.
