Batangas’ new leisure tourism estates

Landco Pacific Corporation, a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, is a pioneering real estate developer in the country. They are known for creating world-class leisure communities that offer innovative lifestyle experiences, setting a new standard of living for our countrymen.

Just the other day, the more-than-30-year-old pioneer developer unveiled its newest master-planned leisure tourism estates (LTE), Club Laiya and CaSoBe, offering mixed-use residential and commercial lots situated in popular tourist destinations.

Club Laiya, located in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas, is a 24-hectare master-planned estate that features leisure living in a true resort community, highlighting wide open spaces and beautiful promenades, with parks and a retail area.

The Aquaria’s main thrill is its three-story water slide.
Its Seaside District provides various offerings serving the tourist market and those who have chosen to invest in a property. The leisure-seekers have direct access to Laiya’s expansive white sand beaches and to the resort amenities in the estate. Water sports enthusiasts can have their fill of windsurfing, kayaking, and yachting.

CaSoBe, a creative acronym for Calatagan South Beach, is a 15-hectare premium estate offering a more laid-back resort lifestyle in an intimate setting, by providing relaxation and entertainment attractions. Harbour Estates are lots offered within CaSoBe and are either commercial or residential or both. Investors will enjoy the benefit of owning a property in a thriving resort setting.

These two LTEs are only 2-3 hours away by car from Manila and are minutes away from local facilities like a hospital, public market, school, pharmacy, chapel, and interesting tourist attractions in the province. Both beachside properties have delightful design elements that offer a relaxing ambience.

The blue-painted roads and distinctive lamppost design are Millennial Resorts’ trademark.
As premium LTEs, Club Laiya and CaSoBe are commendable because they both promote the three main principles of sustainable tourism: environment, economy, and culture. Both are also aiming for EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) Certification, to banner their energy and water conservation measures, and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification, to highlight their green building strategies.

Landco president and chief executive Erickson Manzano proudly announced that these two tourism and lifestyle destinations, designed with a community setting, have various resort amenities perfect for weekend getaways. They can also be venues for social events and conferences, or simply for “work-from-paradise” arrangements. Investors can use their properties as their residence, or beach house, or their second home, or as a commercial enterprise, consequently helping boost tourism and jumpstarting local businesses.

The Crusoe Cabins have a panoramic view of Batangas’ picture-perfect sunset.
It was a delight to see my friend, Patrick Gregorio, resurrect from semi-retirement and is now active again as consultant for Millennial Resorts. He proudly bannered these two projects as the game-changers in our country’s hospitality industry because they offer an unconventional experience that weary, urban dwellers hanker for. Its roads are painted blue, the manhole covers have unique decor, the sidewalks look artsy, and even the lampposts have a unique design, as shown in the accompanying photos.

Elevating the resort lifestyle experience to unprecedented heights, Millennial Resorts offers a wide range of amenities at both properties: from unconventional accommodations, like the surreal capsule-like rooms of Cocoons, to the rustic, beachfront Crusoe Cabins which have panoramic views of Calatagan’s picture-perfect sunset.

The surreal Cocoons offer a unique alternative to beachside accommodations.
Complementing the beach experience are Aquaria, a water park with a three-story water slide at CaSoBe and the Beach Club at Club Laiya. For those looking for culinary delights, there is Captain Barbozza restaurant. It is also a bar that serves all types of cocktail mixes anybody can dream of.  Corporate events and weddings will find their perfect settings either at Canopy or at Isle. If one is looking for a modern and hip beachside working space, there is always Colony to ensure one’s continuous productivity.

Landco has indeed created a new standard for luxury beachside living, the perfect environment for the discerning investor or the imaginative homeowner or the fun-seeking tourist. More information on these new premium estates is available at www.landco.ph.
