We arrived here after a two-hour drive from Manila. We were welcomed by the warm smiles of the staff and their mascot, Tiny. It was a pleasant and surely different welcome experience. We were booked at the penthouse loft, which has two floors. The stay was both peaceful and comfortable. It has a private balcony and offers views of the lagoon and the serene nature surrounding the property.
Adventure awaits
Beyond the hotel’s amenities, Pico de Loro Cove offers a plethora of outdoor activities. On board their 48-footer sail yacht, we savored the golden sunset in between sips of red wine and nibbles from the served charcuterie board. Life is indeed good at Pico.
The hotel’s dining options are superb. Each meal is a feast for the eyes and the tummy. Our favorite was having a meal by the beach at the Reef Bar. Sumptuous food with views of the sea makes one appreciate their time here.
After dinner is also a good time to take a walk around the lagoon and enjoy the peace and quiet.
A massage at Rain, the Spa, is also highly recommended. At the end of a fun-filled day of activities and delectable meals, this relaxing moment is much needed before calling it a day.
