Multi-cooker reduces sugar in rice

Toshiba offers a multi-cooker that reduces sugar in rice as it cooks. 

The 1-liter Low Sugar Multi-cooker has a “healthy rice” function certified to reduce sugar in rice by up to 35 percent and increase healthy digestive resistant starch by 58 percent. “Your rice is cooked at the right temperature to break down and drain its starch content,” the brand says.

It has a 24-hour preset timer function that automatically cooks rice, and a “keep warm” 3D heating induction technology function that keeps it warm until it’s ready for serving. 

It is available for P13,195 on Toshiba’s official Shopee store.
