The Philippine Red Cross, through its partnership with insurer MAPFRE, launches a program providing members with both life and non-select life insurance coverage.
The PRC Prestige Membership Program includes accidental death and disablement cover worth P200,000; unprovoked murder and assault cover worth P200,000; term life coverage worth P200,000; and fire cash assistance worth P20,000.
The aforementioned benefits cover emergencies, sicknesses, disasters, and even death subject to insurance cover terms and conditions.
In addition, the PRC Prestige Membership includes priority assistance on blood requests and priority access to ambulance services.
“This partnership is very timely as the COVID-19 situation has stressed the importance of prioritizing one’s health. By collaborating with the Philippine Red Cross, we are able to reach and provide protection to more Filipinos through the non-life and life coverages from MAPFRE and Insular Life,” said MAPFRE president and chief executive Tirso Abad.
