Recognizing many patients’ concerns about visiting hospitals for medical tests, consultations, and vaccinations, Makati Medical Center offers a range of out-of-hospital services.
Offsite COVID testing and house call services
The healthcare institution now conducts offsite reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or swab testing for COVID-19 as well as regular blood routine procedures Mondays through Saturdays, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Results are released within 48 hours for the RT-PCR test, while the routine blood test results conform to the MakatiMed laboratory turnaround time.
Contact (02) 8888-8999 local 7061 to schedule an appointment at least four days before the preferred test date.
Drive-thru RT-PCR and blood extraction
Patients have a choice to have it done via a drive-thru service from the safety of their private vehicle or from the comfort of their homes. Drive-thru services are available from Monday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Contact (02) 8888-8999 local 7061 to schedule an appointment at least two days before the preferred schedule.
Patients who want to schedule a consultation with their existing MakatiMed doctors can do it online through TeleMD. Appointments can be set via their doctor’s secretary or through MakatiMed On-Call at (02) 8888-8999. The doctor’s clinic will send a link for the teleconsultation appointment and payment details.
Online counseling for diabetes and weight wellness
To ensure that patients with diabetes have convenient access to experts, MakatiMed has also introduced an online counseling service. Contact 0998-585-2103 or email [email protected] or [email protected] to schedule an appointment.
MakatiMed continues to encourage everyone to stay at home to help contain the spread of COVID-19 , but should they need a face-to-face appointment with their doctor, the hospital assures patients that its diagnostic and wellness centers are in full operation and continue to be safe for patients and visitors.
