Global appliances brand Electrolux makes clothes washing a bit techie with its Wi-Fi connected washing machine.
The UltimateCare 900 Front Load Washing Machine features Wi-Fi connectivity that lets users remotely control the appliance through the Electrolux Life App. They can choose from wash or dry programs, and receive notifications when their load is up while on-the-go.
The Care Advisor also provides intuitive guidance to assist in expertly cleaning up to 48 fabrics and 40 of the most common stains.
“To activate the Wi-Fi connectivity, simply download the Electrolux Life App through the App Store or Google Play, then click the ‘Add Appliance’ button. Select the appropriate machine (washing machine, washer dryer, or dryer) then press the remote button on your appliance until the Wi-Fi sign is flashing. Connect your phone to the appliance, ensure your washing machine door is locked then press remote to get it ready for washing and drying.”
In addition to this smart feature, the washing machine also comes with SensorWash which automatically detects dirt and adjusts cycle times to ensure that clothes receive the perfect wash;
UltraMix technology, which activates detergents, thus reducing color fading by up to 40 percent; and Load Sensor, which displays real-time laundry weight and the recommended detergent amount for every wash.
It is also able to automatically adjust time, water, and energy according to the load.
