The demand for healthcare workers worldwide shows no sign of slowing down. The pandemic is clear proof that a strong healthcare system is the only means of survival.

Filipino medical professionals are known worldwide for their work ethics, loyalty, compassion, and dedication. And while overseas employment presents overwhelming opportunities for Filipinos, the recruitment process can pose several challenges.

Healthcare workers in the Philippines who wish to work abroad can start their journey with TrueProfile.io. The company has been assisting overseas workers since 2006.

TrueProfile.io works with employers and recruiters in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and in Europe who are actively hiring health professionals from all over the world.  The platform hosts job opportunities with a team that is actively on hand to assist in the recruitment process and to ensure that application and relocation flow smoothly.

Signing up with TrueProfile.io is free and simple. In a few clicks, one can create an account, build a digital CV and address other recruitment requirements. All the information will be viewed by employers and will be matched with relevant vacancies. TrueProfile.io members can also access licensing services, English language training, and other resources that are useful to overseas healthcare like “How to Prepare for the Job Interview” or “How to Apply for Multiple Jobs at the Same Time?”.

“TrueProfile.io is not limited to healthcare professionals. It is accessible to any professional, but healthcare practitioners will certainly gain the most benefit,” explained co-founder Alejandro Coca.

Countries worldwide are constantly taking steps to strengthen their health care system. “One example is the pre-pandemic situation in the United Kingdom. According to the “The Health Care Workforce in England” report published in 2018 by three independent health organizations (The Health Foundation, Nuffield Trust, and The Kings Fund), there was an existing shortage of 100,000 healthcare staff which had undoubtedly been exacerbated by the outbreak of the coronavirus.”

The GCC and Europe are very open to Filipino healthcare workers. “These regions have a pre-existing community of Filipino medical workers who are renowned for their excellent work ethic and patient care. The Philippines is known as a huge exporter of healthcare professionals to foreign countries which then became a convenient source to fill the shortage in the nursing field abroad, especially during the pandemic crisis.”

The platform can vouch for the legitimacy of employers.“Our team researches employers and recruiters thoroughly and ensures they meet the requirements and criteria for each location in order for them to legally recruit healthcare professionals from our platform. As we are part of the DataFlow Group, which are key players within the regulatory requirements associated with hiring healthcare staff, we have also built a rapport and good relationship with healthcare recruiters and employers in these regions.”

In time, TrueProfile.io platform will have a referral feature to reward members who invite colleagues and associates who sign up. Also in the pipeline is the “salaries” feature that will help ensure fair pay. Members will have access to the salary pay scale in other countries, so they can easily evaluate their job offers.
