This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

BELLA is an eight-year-old baby that was given to Wilma Sab Mateo by her patient.
“She loves to run around to play catch me and when you think you've got her, she'll snap away for a good chase,” shares Wilma.
Wilma adds: “She loves to eat steak and would beg for everything, especally pasta. Maybe she's Italian. Hehehe”
Bella also “loves to be cuddled especially when cold. Christmas is Bella's fave time of the year because she loves sniffing for presents around the tree. Bella means beautiful,” Wilma says.
SADIE, now two years and nine months old, is a female, domestic shorthair tabby who was adopted from an animal shelter when she was only five months old.
“She is very active when she is awake, she likes to explore. She also likes boxes,” says adopter-owner Eunice Tibay.
Eunice says Sadie’s favorite food is salmon and her favorite toy is a string and pointer.
“Sadie likes to cuddle when sleepy. She also likes to sunbathe and stare out the window for hours, “ Eunice adds.
But Sadie hates bath time and her nails being clipped.
Whatever mood she is in, Eunice says Sadie “makes us so happy and laugh hard.”
