Dental practitioners had a rare opportunity to learn from a world authority on dental implant Dr. Peter Moy during a recent one day-only sold out conference in Manila. Participants also witnessed a live dental implant surgery and well updated on the latest development in dental osseointegration.
Dr. Moy, a protégé of Dr. Per-Ingvar Branemark, the father of modern dental implant, has made it his mission to train professional dentists in proper methods in implant and elevate the standards of dental osseointegration in the Philippines.
He was joined at the conference by board of members of different dental societies including Dr. Tony Concepcion of the Philippine Prosthodontic Society, Dr. Aaron Neal Lu of the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and Dr. Steve Mark Gan of GT Industries.
The dental implant conference was presented by Straumann Philippines, the world’s leader in implant, restorative, and regenerative dentistry, in partnership with the Philippine Society of Periodontology, Philippine Academy of Implant Dentistry and Philippine Prosthodontic Society.
