As we go about our everyday lives, we usually find ourselves drowning in its fast-paced motions and succumbing to its pressures. The expectations people have of us to follow the norm creates stress and stops us from doing what we really love. For Rosan Cruz, a spiritual healer and life coach, we mustn’t let ourselves be trapped by these “programs” of the society and that we should live, heal, and bloom to our fullest potential.

To release these pressures and limiting beliefs, Rosan Cruz teaches Kundalini yoga, does sound healing, gong healing, and offers emotional release therapy. These treatments are steps which help one break the limits that control our reactions to important events in our lives.

Live.

True calling

After years of working in the corporate world, Cruz decided to leave her nine-to-five routine and seek fulfillment some other way. She found her true calling with yoga.

She started practicing yoga in 1995 in New York, and continued her practice in Manila. A few years later, she was convinced that helping others become who they want to be is what she really wants to do.

“At the time, I really wanted something different, I felt there’s something more to life than what I was doing.  And here I am now,” she said.

In 2015, Rosan left the corporate world and ventured into being a full-time, passionate Kundalini yoga teacher. Before that, she was already a Theta healer back in 2012.

Heal

Kundalini is the untapped energy which lies dormant at the base of your spine. When you do Kundalini yoga, it strengthens your intuition and willpower. It facilitates in the recovery from many physical, mental, and emotional issues. The added benefit is that it tones the body, builds strength, and improves stamina.

However, Kundalini yoga isn’t only spiritual and mental healing, according to Rosan Cruz, it is also biochemical. What also sets it apart from other kinds of yoga is that each class is designed for a specific outcome.

“The exercises will stimulate your nervous system, the glands to produce all the hormones necessary to build your body tissues, to make you sleep, melatonin to make you happy and the like,” she explained.

Clients with different worries come to her and come out as a whole new different person with a more positive look in their lives.

People as young as nine years old have come and practiced Kundalini yoga with her. Most of clients come to her because of specific problems.

Bloom

Kundalini isn’t the only form of treatment performed by Rosan Cruz. She is also fond of using gongs in most of her classes in a treatment called “sound healing”.

She emphasizes the power behind the sound of the gong, saying that it helps you stay grounded and cleanses you from the toxins within your body.

“The sound of the gong is like the sound you can hear in the universe, like the first sound of creation.” She said, “The sound frequency resonates with the sound with earth.”

Cruz also does a treatment called “Theta healing” where one focuses on the theta brainwave. When in the theta state, you are neither sleeping nor awake, it’s that state which they call lucid dreaming, a state where you can access your subconscious, and all the memories are stored there.

Through this state, one can find out the cause of their woes and relay it to the one performing the healing through conversation. It allows for a release of negative energy and makes one feel much better once the process is over.

“You go to the theta state; you pull that belief, and replace it with something more positive.” Said Cruz

If you have problems weighing you down or are just looking for a relaxing way to unwind and feel better about yourself, Rosan Cruz will definitely find a way to help you in any way she can.
