Shake Shack Korea’s hit chicken sandwich is landing on our shores today, Sept. 27.
Available for a limited time at Shake Shack Philippines, the Gochujang Chick’n features a gochujang-glazed crispy chicken breast topped with sesame seeds that sits over a white kimchi slaw. Gochujang is a red fermented paste made with red chili peppers, sticky rice, fermented soybeans, and salt.
In addition to the chicken sandwich, the gochujang gang includes Korean-inspired Gochujang Chick’n Bites and Gochujang Fries both served with spicy-sweet gochujang mayo sauce. For a sweet ending, Shake Shack offers Black Sugar Shake, made with toasted caramel black sugar hand spun with vanilla frozen custard, and topped with whipped cream and black sugar syrup.
Down them with Blueberry Lemonade, offered free for Gochujang set orders via GrabFood from Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.
