A 10-seater restaurant at Arya Residences in BGC, Taguig lands on the prestigious list of expert-approved dining and drinking destinations worldwide.
Chef Josh Boutwood’s fine dining restaurant Helm is now part of the over 2,000 restaurants and bars to be part of 50 Best Discovery List.
“I am ecstatic to share @helmmnl inclusion in @50bestdiscovery. These are challenging times but we shall continue to press on. It’s nice to have some good news for a change,” Boutwood said.
Launched in 2019, the 50 Best Discovery List curates its selection based on responses from a global voting academy that names the best restaurants and bars as part of the lists for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, The World’s 50 Best Bars, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, Asia’s 50 Best Bars, and Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants.
The library provides a recommended list for its over 2 million followers to explore in their travels across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
At the helm of Helm, Filipino-British chef Boutwood has worked with some of the best restaurants in Europe. He joined The Bistro Group in 2012 as executive corporate chef.
Boutwood is optimistic the latest recognition will give a boost to the restaurant industry “when our economy opens up and our guests can once again indulge in gastronomic experiences”.
“It will be a significant boost to Helm,” he said.
