Panda Express’ Honey Walnut Shrimp now in PH

Starting Monday, March 15, Panda Express branches in the Philippines will start serving the chain’s award-winning seafood dish.

Honey Walnut Shrimp is now available at Panda Express’ Philippine stores.

A Canton dish inspired by Western influence, the Honey Walnut Shrimp is made with large and crispy tempura-battered shrimp, wok-tossed in a honey sauce and topped with glazed walnuts. Traditionally, the dish features whole walnuts but Panda Express serves it with crushed walnuts for a crunchier texture in every bite.

The dish first appeared on Panda Express’ US menu in 2010 and received the prestigious MenuMasters Award for Best New Menu Item of the Year. Due to popular demand, the Jollibee Group, together with Panda Restaurant Group, adds this dish to the Philippine menu.

Honey Walnut Shrimp joins other Panda Express signature dishes including the Original Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, and Eggplant Tofu served at Panda Express in SM Megamall and SM North Edsa. It’s also available for delivery via the restaurant’s Facebook Messenger, GrabFood, and foodpanda.
