Thank the food gods for delivery and pick-up services, cravings are catered and life feels normal again, even in just a few bites.
SM malls across the country have been gradually adjusting to the new normal of eating out by offering services that allow diners to order food from restaurant tenants for them to enjoy at home.
Pasay-based SM Mall of Asia brings dishes from well-loved specialty restaurants to customers’ houses through its My MOA Shopper and MOA Drive-Thru Pick Up services.
To use the services, customers must connect with MOA Assistance through Facebook Messenger to inquire about the list of open establishments and place their orders.
My MOA Shopper allows customers to shop from the convenience of their homes with the help of personal shoppers, and have it delivered straight to their doorsteps. MOA says it “has partnered with the best delivery service providers in the metro to ensure you can safely enjoy shopping from your favorite restaurants and brands.”
On the other hand, MOA Drive-Thru Pick Up is a direct call-to-order service which allows shoppers to buy and pay directly to participating establishments, and have their orders delivered through delivery services. For those who still wish to do their own personal shopping can directly pick up their orders at designated pick-up point entrances around MOA complex.
Participating restaurants from which diners can order include Abe, Café Adriatico, Juan’s Bistro, Max’s Restaurant, Hawker Chan, Hediu Grill Station, Paradise Dynasty, Pho Hoa, Song Do Won, Tenya, Tim Ho Wan, Tong Yang Plus, Vikings, Wow Cow Restaurant, Banh Mi Kitchen, New York Slice Pizza, Sbarro, Shakey’s, Goldilocks, J.Co, and Krispy Kreme
Milk tea lovers can have their favorite drinks from Chatime, Chachago, Macao Imperial, Tiger Sugar, and True Boss delivered to them. Starbucks is likewise included in the list of participating establishments.
Those who opt to go the mall are assured of safety when entering the premises. State-of-the-art thermal scanners are used for temperature checks, while reminders and guides for social distancing are visible inside. The “No Mask, No Entry” rule is strictly implemented. The mall is also sanitized before opening and after closing and several times within the day.
