Hard Rock Café in Makati has become part of many employees’ Friday night—bonding with friends over food and drinks, with a side of music, after a long work week—until its closure in 2017.
Fans of the American bar and restaurant have to wait no longer as its Makati branch officially reopens its door on Feb. 24 with new menu but same rock ‘n roll vibe.
Hard Rock Café’s newest menu includes starters such as the Spinach and Artichoke Dip, perfect for all-time favorite nachos, featuring the creamy blend of Romano and cheddar cheese, spinach, and artichoke hearts.
Pizza lovers are invited to try the Three Cheese and Roma Tomato Flatbread, topped with mozzarella, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, Roma tomatoes, and fresh basil, and drizzled with cilantro pesto.
On the refreshing side of the appetizer spectrum, there’s California-style Cobb Salad, a combination of grilled chicken, avocado, roasted corn, black beans, Monterey Jack cheese, pomegranate seeds, and toasted pepitas on a bed of fresh mixed greens with a creamy ranch dressing.
New main dishes include pastas and burger.
The new Truffle Mushroom Pasta is topped with shiitake mushroom, tartufata, garlic, onion, cream, truffle oil, and parmesan cheese. Meanwhile, the Spicy Vongole Pasta is made with clams, fresh tomatoes, garlic, onion, celery, white wine, chili flakes, and lemon juice.
Hard Rock Café’s new burger couldn’t get any fancier as it comes with a 24-karat edible gold leaf. The 24 Karat Gold Leaf Burger is made with premium grade beef burger, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
From the Core Classics, Hard Rock Café serves its bestselling Original Legendary Burger and Hickory Smoked Ribs.
The Legendary Burger is made legendary with fresh steak burger, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy onion ring, lettuce, and vine-ripened tomato, and served with fries and signature steak sauce on the side.
Meanwhile, the classic Hickory Smoked Ribs boasts tender St. Louis-style ribs, rubbed with signature seasonings and basted with hickory barbecue sauce.
Hard Rock Café also introduces new alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Making Happy Hour a whole lot happier are Rockin’ Fresh Rita, Tropical Margarita (made with Patrón Silver Tequila with fresh fruit flavors and Cointreau liqueur); Rhythm and Rose Mule (Absolut Vodka and rosé wine-based drink with ginger beer); Blackberry Sparkling Sangria (red wine with fresh flavors of blackberries, cranberry juice, squeeze of orange, and Prosecco);
Espresso Martini (features a richly sweet combination of Grey Goose Vodka, Kahlua, and freshly brewed espresso); Classic Caribbean Mojito (Bacardi Superior Rum, mint, lime juice and sparkling soda, Añejo floater, and powdered sugar sprinkle);
Sparkling Blue Hawaiian (Malibu Coconut Rum and Absolut Citron Vodka with Blue Curaçao); Banana Berry Colada (Malibu Coconut Rum, Bacardi Black, fresh banana, Monin strawberry, and coconut cream); Passion Fruit Mai Tai (a Tiki classic invented in the 1940s in California); and Rock House Rum Punch (Bacardi Superior Rum, Bacardi Black, tropical juices, and ginger beer).
But for those who’s not into alcoholic drinks like me can opt for the new Pineapple Lemonade, Cookies and Cream Milkshake, and Hot Fudge Milkshake.
Hard Rock Café Makati at Glorietta 3 (previously NBA Café) is open Monday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
