According to the results of a regional survey commissioned by Beringer Vineyards in 2017, 60 percent of Filipinos surveyed believe that they could have maximized their annual leave if they were better at travel planning.
Inspired by this piece of information, the California-based winery started the Winederlust Dinners, a series of dinner events encouraging more to embrace holiday planning and maximize every vacation.
Lifestyle blogger David Guison led the first Winederlust Dinner in Manila. At the full-house event held at Glasshouse by Harlan and Holden, Guison, a frequent traveler, shared his top travel planning tips from his recent trip to India with media, guests, and fans.
“Planning a holiday entails a good mix of logistics and creativity, and can often end up being very tense and stressful, especially if everyone in the group has strong opinions,” said Guison.
To resolve this, he shared, “I usually disguise my travel planning sessions as a get-together with friends over a cheeky glass of wine. This keep everyone relaxed and in a good mood.”
