Myron’s exciting new menu

“There are 21 new reasons to visit Myron’s at our new location in Ascott Makati,” says restaurateur Ramon Eugenio.

It was in October last year when Ramon and his wife Chef Monique made the bold move to relocate their popular Greenbelt restaurant to the centrally-located Glorietta mall. Their new address on the 6th level of Ascott Makati presented a unique opportunity to capture a wider market that not only includes mall-goers, but also providing breakfast and room service for Ascott Makati’s hotel guests, and handling banquet services for hotel functions through its Banquets by Myron’s division. That kind of forward thinking and entrepreneurial zeal led them to refresh their menu. “This past first year allowed us to look into the needs of this new market from a culinary perspective. Our sous chefs were only happy to take the challenge, and frankly, we are most excited with this latest iteration of the menu.”

Handmade Spinach Fettuccine with Chorizo, Mussels, Shrimp and Oregano

Myron’s launched their new menu on Oct.11, the restaurant’s first anniversary. The updated menu is a mix of old reliables and exciting new dishes from the collaborative culinary minds Noticeable standouts of the 21 new creations include Chipirones Fritos  served with a Squid Ink Aioli; Handmade Spinach Fettuccine with Chorizo, Mussels, Shrimps and Oregano, Coriander White Snapper with a Röesti Cannelloni filled with Spinach and Mushrooms and a number of delectable oyster recipes.

Of course, the restaurant is known for The President, a 500-gram certified Angus Beef Rib Eye steak, described on the menu as “charred on the outside and perfectly juicy on the inside, with juices collecting at the bottom of a tilted warm plate.”

Herb Crusted Parrot Fish in a Green Pea Broth with a Timbale of Arugula-Walnut Pesto

A new wine list was created in careful consideration of the new recipes in the menu. For example, the Domaine Mittnacht Freres Cuvee Gyotaku pairs quite well with the Black Tiger Prawns with San Francisco Garlic Noodles.
