The world’s premier contemporary art fair featured 248 galleries from 32 countries during its March 29 to 31 staging at the Convention & Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai.

Hong Kong also stages a six-day festival, Art Central, which features a variety of exhibitions, installations, panel discussions, and performances. The event’s extensive lineup of activities gathers a host of art enthusiasts, from experienced collectors to amateur artists.

Art Central 2018 was recently staged at Central Harborfront from March 27 to April 1. 

In addition to major art fairs, Hong Kong also has several art hubs for the curious travelers to discover. 

The PMQ, along Aberdeen Street in Central, which used to house Chinese police officers before it became the original Queen’s College Central School, is now home to a variety of inventive restaurants, shops, and exhibition spaces including the HKTDC Design Gallery.

Hong Kong is bustling with dining, shopping, and cultural attractions that lure tourists from all over the world.
