The Art of Printmaking

Printmakers from Cicada Press and University of New South Wales Art & Design in Sydney, Australia, Chiang Mai Art on Paper Studio, and the Association of Pinoy Printmakers joined forces to stage a historical exhibit on printmaking.

The By Hand: Rediscovering the Art of Printmaking exhibition traces the history of prints throughout the centuries. These studios are respectively represented by senior lecturer Michael Kempson, Director Kitikong Tilokwattanotai, and President Benjie Torrado.

Themed "Land, Sea and the Exchange of Ideas," the on-going exposition also features an adjacent studio, where professionals demonstrate the creation of art on paper.

The exhibit at the SDA Gallery of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde is open to the public until April 14.
