My Furry Bestie

This corner will feature pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

BROLLY and his two siblings were found on the street in Manila by the nephew of Mayanne Naguit Dee when he was only three days old. He was the only one who survived. Dee and his nephew took turns giving kitten milk to this cute furball every two hours. Now here he is, a rather spoiled but very sweet cat, Dee says.

MALING was abandoned in Singalong. Manila and was rescued by CARA Welfare Philippines. Bea Salazar of Indang, Cavite adopted him and now enjoys the company of this playful, intelligent cat.

His name is KOMANG, 3 months old. He was born this way but his physical challenge did not lessen one bit his zest for life. He plays with other cats all the time. Axl Yonson says he always waits in front of the door in the morning for his food. But his taste is quite different from other cats: HE WANTS DOG FOOD! Handsome and unique, this guy is indeed.
