With a legacy that dates back nearly a century, it’s easy to understand why a lot of audiophiles consider Bang and Olufsen as the standard in sound quality and timeless design.

Firmly grounded in its 90-year heritage, Bang & Olufsen heritage has set the bar so high that the ultimate test for their sound engineers is “goosebumps.”  The brand has this saying “B&O don’t just make headphones. We don’t just design speakers. We’re not simply in the business of electronics. We’re in the business of goosebumps. That’s where our design department is graded, and how our craftsmanship is measured… Life made a little more colorful, to fully live up to the magic of music.”

In 2012, the iconic Danish brand introduced B&O Play, a new brand designed for the digital generation that seeks to make Bang and Olufsen more accessible to those looking for premium audio devices.

After almost four years, the B&O Play brand finally arrives in the country and finds a home at the Bo Concept Store in Bonifacio Global City. The partnership highlights both brands’ tradition and history for the ultimate in Scandinavian design movement. Bo Concept’s energy, modernity and great love for design inspires to work with limited space—quintessential to the intuitive luxury of B&O Play.

“We are very excited to introduce our latest products to the Philippine market. The B&O Play brand is for customers who want an ultra-convenient experience—combining superior sound and acoustics performance in a beautifully designed device that deliver a more sophisticated listening experience,” Anthony Kierulf of Beoplay Philippines told Manila Standard at the recent media launch.

“While more people are now consuming digital content everywhere, the quality of the listening experience has somewhat eroded. Since it launched, B&O Play has afforded music lovers the opportunity to experience content in a convenient way while maintaining a level of outstanding quality,” Kierulf added.
