Best of Beauty Awards aim to bring global standards to PH beauty scene

As Gen Z consumers become more informed about beauty products, credibility has become a key factor in what earns their trust. That shift frames the Philippine launch of the  Best of Beauty Awards 2026, officially introduced by  Allure Philippines  as a new benchmark for how beauty products are evaluated locally.

The awards mark the first time the globally recognized Best of Beauty seal is being awarded in the Philippines. For three decades, the distinction has been known internationally for recognizing products that perform well in real use, not those driven by trends or aggressive promotion. Its local rollout comes as younger consumers question online hype and seek clearer standards when choosing what to buy.

Following Allure’s established global protocol, the Philippine edition will rely on months of hands-on testing and expert assessment. Products are judged on performance, consistency, and usability rather than popularity or social media presence. The process aims to provide transparency in a market where product launches move fast and claims often outpace results.

The local awards also place emphasis on relevance. Evaluation takes into account Filipino skin tones, hair textures, and climate related concerns such as humidity, sun exposure, and sensitivity. This approach reflects everyday conditions that influence how products perform in real life, particularly in a tropical setting. The awards also acknowledge the growing presence of local beauty brands developing formulations alongside global labels adapting for the Philippine market.

Categories for the  Best of Beauty Awards 2026  include makeup, skin care, hair care, body care, fragrance, nails, tools, and emerging beauty innovations. The range mirrors a beauty industry that continues to expand while responding to calls for effectiveness, responsibility, and thoughtful formulation.

Brands and agencies may now submit entries for consideration, with the deadline set for Jan. 20. Submission guidelines and the official product form are available in the print issue of  Allure Philippines Volume 3  through shop.allure.ph and select newsstands nationwide.
