Nestled within the bustling entertainment city, Aseana City stands as a serene urban oasis. This secure community proudly presents a plethora of easily accessible recreational amenities, inviting both visitors and residents to indulge in a rejuvenating urban retreat.

First developed by D.M. Wenceslao and Associates (DMWAI) about three decades ago, Aseana City was once a mere imagination. Over the years, this community has been masterfully designed to embody top-notch living standards, while seamlessly offering access to modern amenities and world-class public spaces.

Boasting a picturesque view of Manila Bay, the 107.5-hectare Aseana City now offers a diverse range of residential, commercial, and leisure facilities. Furthermore, in the coming years, more high-rise buildings are set to rise. In fact, during the media tour, several lots were observed under construction, while others were nearing completion.

The purpose of the tour was to showcase the current offerings of the community. Here are the highlights of what we love about this promising development – Aseana City.

Next generations’ stop hub

Dubbed as the ‘Next Generation City,’ Delfin Angelo ‘Buds’ C. Wenceslao expressed that it has always been his father, Delfin J. Wenceslao Jr.’s vision for Aseana City to become a community designed for the enjoyment and safety of the next generation.

“My father wanted to ensure that he was building a city for the next generation,” said the younger Wenceslao.

With the aim of creating a sustainable, safe, walkable, and accessible hub, DMWAI has been consistently developing establishments that serve as go-to destinations for people of all ages. One notable feature when visiting Aseana City is its spacious sidewalks. Visitors can walk safely along wider sidewalks that are shielded from inclement weather, thanks to a well-designed network of arcades, corridors, alleyways, and canopies.

The implementation of a climate-protected solution for pedestrians became possible through the collaborative efforts between DMWAI and its locators, with Aseana City’s design guidelines mandating the installation and construction of canopies and sky bridges.

Secured 24/7

One of the things I noticed while going to the Aseana 3 was its smart lampposts in almost every corner of Aseana City. Well, the thing is the real estate developer wanted to give its guests and residents the assurance of being secured while strolling the community.

The city is secured with 24/7 CCTV monitoring and smart lampposts connected to the command center to notify security personnel in case of emergency.

Parqal’s ‘floating canopy’

Anticipated to open by the Q3 of 2023, Parqal is designed to offer an array of leisure activities, with lifestyle and retail shops offering everything from dining, fashion, and wellness to DIY options.

The five-hectare walkable commercial building will highlight local and retail stores, restaurants, and offices.

The landscape of the Parqal Amphitheater

Parqal, a portmanteau of the words “Park” and “Kalye”, is also built to promote a healthy and active lifestyle with its “floating canopy.” The canopy serves as the flagship spine of Aseana City’s sidewalk masterplan, covering about 5,000 sqm of the development’s linear greenway spine.

Accessible and commuter-friendly

The goal also of the real-estate developer is to provide accessible transportation for Filipinos whenever they want to go to Aseana City.

The city’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure, products, and services has established it as one of the most competitive central business districts in the metro.

Aseana City’s strategic location, and connection to key transport linkages such as the NAIA Expressway, LRT Line 1 Extension, and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITx), is further enhanced by its focus on public security, open spaces, and walkway systems.

These are just some reasons to have a visit to Aseana City. The city’s progressive approach to urban planning and development sets a high standard for other urban areas to follow.
