Enhancing casual gatherings is the inspiration for the team behind the newly-opened Arcana Lounge in Promenade Mall in Greenhills, San Juan. It provides a curated dining experience shared with those who matter the most. 

Arcana Lounge prides itself in bringing a luxurious ambiance and experience at an affordable rate. It recently opened its doors to curious diners searching for new locations offering low-key luxury experiences without the extra cost. The venue has seats and private rooms that can accommodate small groups.

Yet the space isn’t the only thing about Arcana Lounge that diners will enjoy. Chef Edward Dimaculangan brings several favorites to the menu with some modifications. He also emphasizes their attention to detail, from curating the raw materials to finalizing the overall look and flavor of the dish.

“We’re one of the chefs who take time to visit the slaughterhouse to pick out the seafood and the meat [that comes] straight from the source. We pride ourselves in not buying anything frozen, except for the beef and lamb, because nothing compares with USDA grade beef and New Zealand lamb,” Dimaculangan said during the opening of Arcana Lounge last May 18.

Some of the signature dishes served at Arcana Lounge include lamb rack (P1,945), truffle pasta (P575), and pizzas (P395 to P475). Other dishes, like sisig rolls, sliders, buffalo wings, pork ribs, and porterhouse steaks, are also available on the menu. 

Dimaculangan added that some dishes, like the sisig rolls, are also served with authentic Filipino flavors to honor the country’s diverse cuisine.  

“I want the food to be a part of memories today, especially when we go out and hang out with friends, but done in a method that’s a little bit on the high-end,” he said.

Aside from the dishes, Arcana Lounge also offers specially curated drinks and signature cocktails that have a shot or two. An example is the Arcana Breeze (P320), which has coconut rum and cranberry juice that leaves a sweet flavor with just the right kick. Arcana Twister (P420), on the other hand, has a creamy yet refreshing take on a favorite pineapple drink, giving guests a taste of summer whenever they take a sip. Lastly, the Picnic cocktail (P420) has an unlikely combination that makes it a treat to remember. 

Those who want to enjoy long, hearty conversations with great company at the Arcana Lounge will enjoy these drinks and more, like its versions of Forgotten Classics, including the rich Whiskey Sour and refreshing Negroni.
