How Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla embraced the law of attraction to produce desirable experiences

These days, manifesting has become a buzzword and the concept has come so far from the launch of Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret.

In the book-turned-movie in 2006, there was a story about Hollywood actor Jim Carrey issuing himself a post-dated $10 million check and eventually making it happen. Stories of this kind paved the way for the law of attraction to become a hot topic.

Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla

The law of attraction is the philosophy that our thoughts become our reality. Since its entry into our consciousness, more enthusiasts have unlocked tools and techniques in making things happen. That is how I met vision board coach Trixie Esguerra-Abrenilla, also known as “PositiviTrix” on social media. I attended her virtual workshop at the onset of the pandemic two years ago.

“I help people know what they want clearly and manifest them quickly. That is through vision boarding,” Trixie told me through a video call. “Among all the things I do, this is my purpose in life,” the entrepreneur and news anchor said, sounding giddy.

As a vision board coach, Trixie creates programs and workshops for people who believe in goal-setting. Equipped with her Behavioral Sciences degree from the University of the Philippines – Manila, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Medical Intuitive Thetahealing certificates, and international training, the multihyphenate acted on an epiphany she had and worked on turning her side hustle into a full-time career.

Trixie helps people determine their goals and manifest them quickly.

“It was like a miracle from heaven,” Trixie described how she started with the craft in 2014. At a time of heartbreak, the need to be clear about what she wanted in life led to coming up with a vision board.

“A vision board or a dream board is a powerful tool to attract whatever you want in life. Literally, it is a board where you put photos and words of everything you want to have, to be, and to do,” Trixie explained. “It is a physical or digital collage of your goals.”

Soon enough, the activity sworn by celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Steve Harvey, Katy Perry, and even our own Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray  also proved to be effective for Trixie.

An African safari trip was a vision board goal Trixie manifested in 2015.

“The moment I realized my dreams were eventually happening one by one, I was sold to the technique,” she excitedly shared. Trixie also felt a prompt to share the idea with others.

The intention was turned into action as 6,000 people from all over the world have participated in Trixie’s workshops and vision boarding parties since she began seven years ago. Virtual sessions and a VIP membership club are currently in place for individuals and companies.

“Success depends on the feelings you attach to your board,” Trixie shared with passion, revealing one of her manifesting hacks to make vision boards work. “You have to feel it’s a done deal!”

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray (right) and Trixie were classmates in a DaleCarnegie class in 2018.

Tapping into people’s power to create their own realities is evidently Trixie’s mission. Seeing more people transform their lives, as she said, has become her own life’s vision.
