The cities of Malabon and Caloocan have issued regulations for Oplan Kaluluwa to be carried out now that All Souls Day is approaching.
By virtue of Executive Order No. 21-10-06-030, all public and private cemeteries in Malabon City will be temporarily closed from October 29 to November 3, 2021.
It will remain open until October 28, 2021 for those who want to visit their deceased loved ones.
Visitation to the cemetery will only be allowed from 6:00 am to 11:00 am and from 2:00 pm to 6:00
Only three people in a family can enter the cemetery on limited public visitations.
It is prohibited to include 17 years old and below and 65 years old and above.
During the limited public viewing on October 15-28, only 300 people will be allowed to enter the cemetery per shift for physical distancing.
The No Mask, No Face Shield, No Entry policy will be strictly enforced and visitors will also need to bring a valid ID.
It is also strictly prohibited to carry a knife, cutter, or any sharp object; radio, loudspeakers, Bluetooth speakers; gasoline, lighter fluid, or other substance that can start a fire; and alcohol and other alcoholic beverages.
Meanwhile, the cleaning of the cemeteries conducted by the staff of the Caloocan City Public Safety and Traffic Management Department and the City Environment and Management Department has also begun in preparation for Undas.
