Authorities will enforce a road closure and traffic rerouting scheme on major streets in Manila this morning today to give way for the wreath-laying activities in connection with the 450th Araw ng Maynila celebration.

In its advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority stated that the said activities will be held separately at the Rizal Monument in Luneta and Rajah Sulayman along Roxas Boulevard.

Covered by  the road closure beginning  6:30 a.m. include the northbound lane of Roxas Boulevard (from President Quirino Avenue to Katigbak Drive) and its service road; and streets of Pedro Gil, San Andres, M.H. Del Pilar and Remedios.

The cadvised light vehicles or motorists using the northbound lane of Roxas Boulevard and Service Road to turn right at President Quirino to point of destination while those using the southbound lane must turn left to Pedro Gil Street to point of destination.

All light vehicles traveling westbound of T.M. Kalaw using the northbound lane of Roxas Boulevard shall turn right to Maria Orosa to point of destination while those traveling westbound of San Andres Street shall turn right to Mabini Street or turn Left to M.H. Del Pilar to point of destination.
