Pasay City Mayor Imelda Rubiano on Sunday said that she she has called for an emergency meeting with Councilor Arnel Arceo and other city government officials to shed light on a video that went viral on social media showing health workers were harassed while conducting COVID-19 rapid testing inside City Hall.
“I find it regrettable that the incident happened. But as mayor, it is my responsibility to ensure that we should focus on our real enemy which is COVD-19,” Rubiano said.
Social media has been abuzz about Arceo venting his ire over health officers who conducted the test in the session hall.
According to Rubiano, she has already conducted a series of dialogues and inquiries with the parties involved in the video to listen to their sides of the controversy. It is very possible that there has been a misunderstanding between them.
