The Villar family, led by former Senate president Manny Villar and Senator Cynthia A. Villar, pose with hundreds of children of Baseco in Manila and Iruhin in Tagaytay during a Christmas party at Crosswinds in Tagaytay City. The Villars treated the children to a day filled with love and happiness, as they were joined by children Camille and son Tristan, and Public Works Secretary Mark Villar and wife Justice Undersecretary Emmeline and daughter Emma.

Joined by Public Works Secretary Mark Villar and his wife Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Villar, Camille Villar, and grandchildren Emma Therese and Tristan, the family sang and played with the kids in the annual gift-giving affair hosted by the Villar SIPAG (Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance).

“We are very happy to have spent this special time with the kids,” Manny Villar said as he watched kids aged 2 to 13 years old enjoy the Christmas Village set up at the 100-hectare Crosswinds community in Tagaytay.

The Villars, especially grandkids Emma Therese and Tristan, joined the Baseco kids in watching a magician show and playing parlor games. In the end, they handed out the Christmas presents to the kids.

“Christmas has always been a special time especially for the children. This event is just one of our family’s way of giving back to the Filipino people,” Villar said. “We hope through this celebration, we are able to spread joy to the kids and their families this holiday season,” Senator Villar said.
