Seventy-seven graduates of the University of Makati passed the latest licensure examinations for Pharmacists and Radiologic Technologists held in August and July, respectively, where the city-run institution obtained passing rates that surpassed the national passing rate.

The city chief executive also commended the COAHS led by its Dean, Dr. Maria Fay Nenette Cariaga, for the remarkable outcome of the recent board exams.

Based on official results released by the Professional Regulation Commission, 26 out of 28 Pharmacy board examinees from UMak passed, posting a 92.86 percent passing rate which is higher than the national passing rate of 69.21 percent.

On the other hand, 51 out of 65 UMak Radiologic Technology (Radtech) graduates who took the board exam last July passed, which translates to a 78.46 passing rate—higher than the 47.23 percent national passing rate.
