Almost 300 Navoteños received medical attention at the Makabagong Bayanihan Medical Mission held by the Navotas City Government in partnership with dzRH, the radio company celebrating its 78th anniversary.
The participants underwent medical consultation as well as blood sugar and blood pressure testing. They also received free medicines and vitamins.
They also engaged in lectures on family planning, how to avail of the services offered at the newly established hemodialysis unit at the Navotas City Hospital, and disaster preparedness.
“Every Navoteño is our city’s strength and treasure. We want to take good care of their health so they will have strength to improve their lives,” said Mayor John Rey Tiangco.
