Nationwide solidarity is continuously expressed through donations and aid for Filipinos affected by the series of earthquakes that struck Davao and the rest of Mindanao in recent months, that scaled up to a magnitude 6.6 followed by frequent aftershocks.

One of the companies that made noteworthy contribution to the cause was ARC Refreshments Corp. with its turnover of 488 boxes or 5, 856 bottles of Alon purified drinking water to help Davaoeños affected by the earthquake in rebuilding their lives.

ARC donated 250 boxes to the Office of the Vice Mayor of Davao, while 238 boxes were allotted for ABS-CBN’s Sagip Kapamilya Foundation for distribution. Alongside safe drinking water, packs of noodles were also donated by the beverage company.

“We had to help out fellow Filipinos in need especially in time for the Christmas season—and they need all the support they can get even beyond the Holidays,” noted James Loverio, ARC Refreshments Corporation’s Head of Marketing.

“We not only decided to deliver this donation as part of our commitment to nation-building, but even more important, because it’s simply the right thing to do for our countrymen and women facing crisis,” he added.

Making high quality beverages more accessible to Filipinos is one of the core values of ARC. Proud of its Filipino roots, the company launched Alon this year to provide “a wave of safe water for every Juan.”

“Supply of fresh, safe water is important for everyday life. We’re making sure that those affected by the earthquake get access to this basic necessity,” said Loverio.

Alon’s tagline, “Pag toxic na ang life, pure and safe lang dapat. Drink positive!” personifies the sincerity, humility, and hardworking traits of its target consumers who always put their health first so they can serve their family better.

“It also aims to bring hope and a dose of inspiration for Davaoeños, as we remind them that many companies like ARC are behind them on their path to recovery,” explained Loverio.

Guaranteed safe and reasonably priced, Alon highlights the expansion of ARC and the well-loved Pinoy cola brand’s diversification of its portfolio so that it can offer higher value and affordable choices for Filipinos.

Aside from Alon, ARC is the manufacturer RC Cola which is otherwise dubbed as the “RC ng Bayan” for its ties with Filipinos as the preferred cola drink for every occasion.

Juicy Lemon, Seetrus, Fruit Soda Orange, Arcy’s Rootbeer, and Rite ‘N Lite are the other brands of the company that are known for their equally crisp, well-balanced and satisfying flavors.
