Tanauan—The City Government of Tanauan headed by Mayor Mary Angeline Halili on Wednesday led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the 3.6-hectare public health facility to be built here.
The project, which will be known as the Tanauan City Hospital in Barangay Sambat, has a total cost of P400 million.
The construction of the hospital is expected to be completed within 14 months, according to Halili.
The mayor said this is a part of her father's promise to Tanaueños during his term.
Other guests who witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony were Vice Mayor Herminigildo Trinidad Jr. and City Councilors led by retired Brig. Gen. Benedicto Corona, Herman De Sagun, Czylene Marqueses and Simeon Platon.
