The mobility station was designed as an all-in-one oasis – providing utmost convenience to passers-by by enhancing the mobility and connectivity of the community – be it a motorist, cyclist, or a resident looking to refuel, relax and recharge in between journeys.

The new station gives a generous space to products of Bulacan in its retail store where 85 percent of its displayed items are locally-produced.

The Shell Select store serves an assortment of pastries, sweet treats, and food-on-the-go, freshly made and delivered on-site to enable busy individuals to grab and go without compromising taste and quality.

Trade Undersecretary Blessy Lantayona hailed the initiative that showcases the One Town-One Product goods to help small enterprises affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“OTOP is a priority stimulus program for Micro Small and Medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) as the government's customized intervention to push the growth of the local economy,” Lantayona said.

For his part, Shell vice president and general manager for mobility Randy Del Valle said the first mobility station in the North will mark the beginning of a transformational journey ahead as Shell continues to progress with its customers to meet their evolving needs in mobility and convenience.

“We place customers at the heart of everything we do and together with our front-line service champions, we are committed to better serve our customers in this on-going journey to improve our customer experience. As we believe it is not just where you go, but also how you go that matters, we hope to help our customers still feel the much-needed conveniences they get in their personal sanctuaries and make their life’s journeys better,” Del Valle added.

To improve its food lines, Shell joined hands with strategic partners such as Cha Time, Fariñas Ilocos Empanada, and food trucks such as Tokyo Tokyo.

The mobility station also offers easy and efficient transactions such as online payment and other self-service kiosks, ATM machines for banking needs, and free wi-fi for customers looking to get things done while they are away from home, school or office.

“Digitalization is also included in our Shell mobility station where customers can download Shell Go Plus application. This app is packed with information to ensure that motorists get the most out of driving,” Del Valle said.

“With the Loyalty on Demand app, one can check points balance and transactions quickly and easily; receive personalized special offers; keep on top of your vehicle's maintenance (we will alert you when it's time to renew your tax, insurance or annual check up); and find your way with our route planner, which will also calculate the cost of your journey and locate a Shell station so you can fill up with ease once you're out on the road,” Del Valle added.
