SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna — The modular container vans that will serve as the cohorting facility at San Pablo City General Hospital will be available next week.

Mayor Loreto S. Amante said this after he conducted an inspection on the project Friday.

According to the mayor, each container van has two beds, is air-conditioned and has its own toilet. “In total this cohorting facility can accommodate up to 10 patients,” he said.

Two of the modular container vans were sent to SPC Medical Center to support its ability to receive potentially positive COVID-19 patients.

The cohorting facility, as explained by City Health Officer Dr. James Lee Ho, is comparable to Upgraded Triage, where all patients are first screened to make sure they are not contagious in case they are positive of COVID.
