The Batangas provincial government, under the leadership of Governor Hermilando ‘Dodo’ Mandanas, continued distributing aid to residents and families affected by Typhoon “Rolly” on Thursday.

According to the Batangas Public Information Office, the provincial government again extended assistance to the residents of Tierra Verde Subdivision in Batangas City, one of the communities that was inundated by heavy rains caused by Rolly.

It also distributed relief goods for the residents of Barangay Libjo, as Mandanas assured that assistance and donations to the province “will continue to flow, which is expected to be of great help to meet the needs of those affected by the previous typhoon.”

Ayala Foundation Inc. also donated 2,000 packs of rice (5 kilos each) and various food items such as canned sardines, instant noodles, coffee, milk, and bottled water.

Earlier, the provincial government also received 1,000 boxes of noodles from the Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, which are scheduled to be distributed to residents temporarily staying in evacuation centers.
