Angeles City—Mayor Carmelo Lazatin, Jr. immediately ordered the release of P10,000 each to the fire victims in Barangay San Nicolas here.
Lazatin, who nspected the gutted area, instructed the local finance committee to immediately process the financial assistance for the 30 families and business owners affected by the fire last Saturday.
The fund for the assistance will be taken from the Office of the City Mayor’s regular budget.
He has also sent the medical team from Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office to check on the victims. Butch Gunio
On Sunday, City Social Welfare and Development Office distributed food assistance, hygiene kits, mats, and blankets to the affected residents.
IC Calaguas, Lazatin’s chief adviser and tactician director, also coordinated with Business Permit and Licensing Division to assist the businesses in claiming benefits from their fire insurance provider.
