Mariveles, Bataan — Vice Mayor Lito Rubia has given food packs to needy residents of Sitio Bayangin in Barangay Alas-asin here.
The residents thanked the vice mayor for the food assistance delivered this week, saying it is a big help to them.
“Kahit malayo kami nakarating sa amin ang ayuda,” resident Juanita dela Cruz said.
Rubia said he and other members of Sangguniang Bayan Mariveles are always willing to help the needy and reminded townsfolk to always follow LGU protocols to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
“Malalagpasan din nating lahat ang mga hamon at pagsubok na dumarating sa ating bansa at sa ating bayan kung lahat tayo ay nagkakaisa at nagtutulungan”, the vice mayor said.
