Angeles City—Some 13,782 kids ages 2 to 6 years old from 23 barangays here have received milk from the Angeles city government under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.
The city mayor said the remaining 18,218 kids from Barangays Balibago, Cutcut, Cutud, Ninoy Aquino, Pandan, Pulung Cacutud, Pulung Maragul, and Sapalibutad will receive their milk assistance in the coming days.
The house-to-house milk distribution is being supervised by city nutrition office.
Lazatin earlier announced that a total of 32,000 kids in the city will be given milk.
The city mayor ordered the procurement of P7 million worth of milk and other children’s needs. However, he stressed that he personally promotes breast milk as best for infants.
