The Local Chief Executive of Carmona headed by Carmona Cavite Mayor Atty. Roy M. Loyola, along with the Carmona Municipal Police, inspected the current situation of the barangays the other day as the curfew and liquor ban was implemented in the whole municipality.

They are continuously making sure that all citizens would be able to understand that the curfew and liquor ban are part of the compliance of the municipality on the declaration of President Rodrigo Duterte's "Enhanced Community Quarantine" as well as Carmona's preventive measures to maintain being coronavirus-free. Mayor Roy Loyola urges all members of the member to comply with the curfew and liquor ban for the safety of everyone.

Municipal Mayor Roy Loyola imparted to his constituents that two Persons Under Investigation in Carmona have died while still waiting for the result of their Sars CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus detection tests. The said PUIs were not able to report to the Carmona Municipal Health Office

(MHO) right away as they went directly to the Philippine General Hospital and De La Salle University Medical Center who both informed the MHO of the situation of the two this morning.

MHO once again reminded Carmona residents to coordinate their situation with the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams if they have experienced symptoms or have travel history and contacts with COVID-19 positive persons.

As of the moment, MHO rigorously conducts contact tracing, strict home quarantine, and other relevant preventive measures regarding the death of the two PUIs.

The local government unit of Carmona as headed by Municipal Mayor Loyola distributed misting machines and chemical solutions to the barangays in Carmona in front of the Municipal Hall. It was

followed by disinfection sessions done in barangays Mabuhay, Maduya, and Milagrosa as part of the preventive measures being implemented by the local government.

Also, the Carmona LGU conducts disinfection sessions on different barangays, such as the Carmona Estates, Barangay 8, Barangay Lantic, and Barangay Bancal as part of the preventive measures and mitigation efforts against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. More scheduled disinfection sessions will be conducted in other barangays for the following days.

In line with the local government's social assistance programs relative to the international health crisis, displaced public transportation drivers were given financial assistance continuously at the Carmona Municipal Hall, while various companies in Carmona have donated foods to frontliners as healthworkers and the police continue to be at risk every day against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the municipality.

Several companies and citizens have expressed their gratitude towards the frontliners by giving them food.

The local government of the Carmona will also launch the Bayan, May

Libreng (BML) Delivery. It is an initiative of the Municipal Government where every barangay will be providing free delivery

services from the public market to the residents. This way, the municipal government will be able to assist the residents in buying their basic needs while quarantined at home.

The Carmona Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 recently held a meeting at the Municipal Penthouse to discuss the updates on the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation in the Philippines as well as the assessment on the preventive measure being implemented by the local government.
