Teleperformance (TP), the global leader in outsourced customer experience management services, recently launched the Cloud Campus microsite in San Nicolas near Laoag City in Ilocos Norte. This milestone also marks the opening of TP’s 23rd business site in the Philippines.

Teleperformance Cloud Campus, which was launched in 2021, is an innovative long-term remote work solution that allows home-based interaction experts to remain connected to their Teleperformance team through the Cloud Campus hubs, which come with high-tech features to help employees stay engaged while maintaining operational efficiency.

Evelyn Ramos, San Nicolas Municipal Vice Mayor Edistio P. Valdez, Teleperformance Philippines Chief Operations Officer Joey Marquez, VENVI Group of Companies Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Atty. Hilario P. Valdez, and Teleperformance Vice President for Training, Quality, Learning & Development Pierre Berube.

Meanwhile, brands can easily expand their business and deliver superior customer experiences through Teleperformance’s unique, cloud-centric program. The solution overall reduces operations disruption for businesses while enabling employees to work wherever they want.

The Cloud Campus microsite in Ilocos Norte is located on the 3rd floor of the Viven Hotel in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. This site will open more jobs for residents of the Ilocos region and hopes to contribute to the capacity building and economic growth of the province.

“We are again unfolding another milestone today through the launching of the Teleperformance Cloud Campus microsite in our beloved municipality, which would provide again employment opportunities not only for our people here in San Nicolas but also to the whole of Ilocos Norte and the nearby provinces. This will definitely boost the municipality’s economy thereby eventually improving the lives of every San Nicoleño,” shared San Nicolas Municipal Vice Mayor Edistio P. Valdez who was present during the launch.

Teleperformance Philippines Chief Operations Officer Jose Luis “Joey” Marquez also shared, “Opening our 23rd business site here in Ilocos Norte is on the top of our growth strategies for 2022. I’m very proud to say that Ilocos Norte will now experience the Cloud Campus microsite. Our customer management experts will be able to work wherever they live, and live wherever they love.”

Additionally, the newest business site is also part of Teleperformance’s commitment to providing more career opportunities to Filipinos by supporting the Digital Cities 2025 program by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

The program aims to generate over a hundred thousand local jobs in identified cities and provinces by 2025, including Laoag City and the Ilocos Norte province. DICT identified the region as an ideal investment spot due to its strategic location and a large and educated human resource pool who are at par with major cities in the Philippines.

“Providing sustainable, safe, and secure employment has always been the priority of Teleperformance. We are excited about the prospect of supporting the career growth and talent development of the people of Ilocos Norte and its neighboring provinces as we continue to expand our presence across the country through our innovative work-from-anywhere Cloud Campus solution,” shared Teleperformance Philippines Senior Vice President, Human Capital Resource Management Jeffrey Johnson.

The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office 1 (DOLE RO1) Regional Director Atty. Evelyn Ramos shared her appreciation for Teleperformance and the sector during the event.

“What Teleperformance is doing here in the Philippines is valuable. We gladly welcome here in the Ilocos region the launching of the Teleperformance Cloud Campus site, which is expected to pave the way for the employment of thousands of Ilocanos. Further, we also laud the virtual workforce platform for enabling a work-at-home business,” said Ramos.

Aside from the new microsite in Ilocos Norte, there are two other Teleperformance Cloud Campus hubs located at TP Fairview in Quezon City and TP Aura in Taguig City, along with multiple kiosks located in other Teleperformance sites in the Philippines that serve as operational command centers of virtual teams.

The new Teleperformance Campus Culture supports the employee’s physical and mental well-being, assisted by bespoke Technology, Analytics, and Process Excellence (T.A.P.TM) solutions that harness human insights, fun, teamwork, friendly competition, and continuous learning.

These include solutions such as training simulations, gamification, operational remote management platforms, and collaboration platforms built with machine learning and analytics capabilities enabling more First Call Resolutions and reduced Average Handling Time.

The Teleperformance Cloud Campus model was also designed to help businesses mitigate operational disruptions by providing a comprehensive solution to companies looking at remote work as part of their growth plans in the new digital economy.

It thoughtfully addresses the main concerns of companies for processes that are to be handled from a home environment, such as security, performance and control, and engagement of remote teams.
