More than getting the much-needed victory in ONE Championship, two-time ONE lightweight world champion Eduard Folayang will receive P500,000 as a winning incentive from Benguet caretaker Rep. Eric Go Yap.
Folayang used his deadly wushu striking to outpoint Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr and score a unanimous decision win against the Australian’s explosive retirement bout at ONE X: Grand Finale on March 26, 2022 in Singapore.
During a recent meet-up with Team Lakay, Yap said Folayang can cash in the incentive if he wins, and the former ONE world lightweight champion responded to get his career back on the winning track.
“We have pooled our resources at the Office of Benguet Representative that if Folyang wins, we will hand him a cash incentive,” Yap earlier said.
